The challenge

Every year before school starts, the retailer Hutstübele organizes a “slipper-week”, during which the slippers price is greatly reduced throughout the physical Hutstübele stores. Most of the customers are parents who of course buy new slippers for their children for the new school year. We needed to address exactly this clientele.

Our solution

For the “slipper-week” video we placed a small child in the first frame. With a schoolbag. This immediately sets the scene and catches the audience related to kids, that need to return to school. Soon afterwards, the mother comes into the frame and gives him new slippers while saying “Du brauchst keine kalten Füße bekommen”, which in German has two meanings: literally it means that the kid doesn’t has to get cold, and metaphorical it means “you don’t need to be afraid.”
